Make a Difference in your Community

KEYSPOT is looking for dedicated, caring volunteers to help clients gain digital skills at locations throughout Philadelphia. Are you interested in narrowing the digital divide, one person at a time? Join our growing volunteer network by filling out our KEYSPOT volunteer form.

KEYSPOT computer labs located in diverse organizations across the city seek volunteers to help bridge Philadelphia's "digital divide." KEYSPOT volunteers help clients learn computer skills through one-on-one and group trainings. If you have an interest in teaching digital skills and working with adult learners, contact us today and we will match you with a volunteer opportunity at a KEYSPOT near you!

Opportunities include helping with:

  • One-on-one digital literacy training
  • Group digital literacy trainings
  • Adult Basic Education tutoring
  • Administrative duties
  • Tech support

KEYSPOT is offering a new Tech Skills Tutor Training starting August 2017. Volunteers will be equipped with an understanding of adult learning theory as well as strategies for improving the digital literacy of adults. Upcoming trainings are listed on our KEYSPOT calendar. All volunteers are expected to have experience and comfort with basic computer and Internet skills, however some locations have further requirements for volunteers, including obtaining clearances and undertaking formalized training.
